Meta Platform Policy

How ReplyRun complies with Instagram & Meta Developer Policies.

1. Compliance Commitment

ReplyRun operates entirely on the official Meta Graph API. We are committed to strict compliance with the Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and the Instagram Community Guidelines.

2. The 24-Hour Standard Messaging Window

To prevent spam and ensure high-quality user experiences, Meta enforces a 24-hour messaging window. ReplyRun automatically enforces this rule:

  • We only send automated Direct Messages within 24 hours of a user interacting with your account (e.g., leaving a comment or sending a message).
  • Once the 24-hour window expires, ReplyRun will block any further automated outgoing messages to that user until they interact with your account again.

3. Opt-Out & Unsubscribe Mechanisms

User consent is critical. ReplyRun actively listens for standard opt-out keywords in Direct Messages, including: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, NO, CANCEL, QUIT.

If a user replies with any of these keywords, our system immediately flags their account and blocks all future automated communications from your connected Instagram account to them.

4. Data Usage & Meta Graph API limits

ReplyRun requests only the permissions strictly necessary to operate the automation workflows you design. We use the instagram_manage_messages and instagram_manage_comments scopes exclusively to read inbound triggers and send automated replies on your behalf.

We implement robust queueing and rate-limiting to ensure your account never exceeds Meta's burst limits (e.g., maximum conversations per day and hourly reply limits).

5. Data Deletion Instructions

Users have the right to request the deletion of their data at any time. For detailed instructions on how to revoke our application's access and securely delete your data, please refer to Section 3 of ourPrivacy Policy.
